Product Features

Concrete Work

For the concrete work, the concrete mixture should be in ratio 1:1.5:3 (Cement 1 part, Sand 1.5 part, Stone Chips 3 part). All the materials are measured using a container made up of wood or steel. Generally, the dimension of the measuring container is 350 X 250 X 400 millimeters with a total capacity of 35 liters. Every bag of cement should, at least, be mixed with 25 liters of water while mixing.
If the machine is used for mixing, the process of mixing should, at least, be done for 3 minutes, so that the mixture is mixed with water properly.
In case if mixing is to be done with hands, prepare a dry mixture of sand and cement in a flat container. Add stone-chips to the uniformly colored mixture. Add water at last.
Cast the concrete mix before it settles. For the concrete to settle, it generally takes 40-60 minutes. In case of delay, don’t mix water to maintain its consistency.
Concrete casting should be regularly done; means the mixture should be poured layer-by-layer from a height of a maximum of 1.5 meters – this keeps the mixture intact. After this, the mixture should be compacted and it is always advisable to use a needle-vibrator. If a needle-vibrator is not available, an iron rod should be used so that there is no air bubble trapped in the concrete which can leave holes structure weak.

Plaster Work

The skin on the human body makes it beautiful and attractive. In the same way, Plaster is the skin of our house that not only makes our house beautiful but also protects it from damages caused due to salt and acid rain. Therefore, it is very important to focus on plasterwork.

  1. The wall should be wet before the paster is applied. If the paster is applied to drywall, the wall will absorb the water of the cement and the plaster will fall.

  2. It is also important that the worker doesn’t prepare the mixture for a complete day. The mixture should be prepared in small quantities; the amount of mixture prepared should not exceed the amount consumable in one hour.

  3. The general mix proportion is as follows: ✓ 1:5 to 1:6 for Inner Plaster

    ✓ 1:4 to 1:5 for External Plaster

    ✓ 1:3 to 1:4 for Ceiling Plaster
If sand particles are very fine, the ratio of 1:4 is suitable for all of the above.

  4. For finishing work, wooden plates are suitable as steel plates can cause small cracks.

  5. The process of wetting (curing time) for 10-14 days is considered good.

Brick Work

The below mixture ratio is the best:

  1. 4 Inch Wall (separating walls of the house) Cement: Sand = 1:4

  2. 9 Inch Wall (external walls) Cement : Sand = 1:6

  3. Before the work starts, the bricks should be kept wet for, at least, 8 hours. Completely wet bricks should not be used because cement doesn’t stick to completely wet bricks. Therefore, once the bricks are wet, allow them to dry for some time.

  4. Once the bricks are set, the correct cutting and ranking of mortars are needed. The thickness of brick joints should not exceed 1 centimeter. Vertical joints should not be adjacent.

  5. At a time, the bricks should not be set for more than 5 feet because mortars need time to settle. The joining starts from two corners (3-4 layers). The middle portion should be filled with removable frames. Line level and plumb should undergo maintenance regularly.

  6. The process of wetting (curing time) of 10 days is necessary.

Curing (Tarai)

The process of maintaining the moisture of concrete is known as Curing (Tarai). Concrete starts drying after Chinai. Therefore, it is also very important to maintain the moisture of the environment which helps to keep the concrete moist. The process should undergo regularly. Generally, the process of wetting (Curing time) of 10-14 days is considered good. Create small temporary boundaries on a flat surface; for vertical surfaces, tie joot-clothes, and pour water to keep them wet. This will help to keep the surface wet for long.
